Oriental medicine sa UST

Minsan nang nagbalak ang Faculty of Medicine and Surgery na magtayo ng ospital para sa pagtataguyod ng oriental medicine.

Ayon kay Dr. Ramon Sin, dating dekano ng Faculty, inimbitahan ng ambasador ng South Korea ang Unibersidad noong 1997 na magtayo ng isang ospital sa Cavite, kaagapay ng Kyung Hee University, na magtataguyod ng acupuncture, herbal medicine, at iba pang medisinang alternatibo.

Subalit hindi ito natuloy dahil hindi pinayagan ng gobyerno. Napunta raw umano sa hindi matukoy na ahensya ng pamahalaan ang mga pondong nilaan ng mga Koreano para sa proyekto.

Sa kasalukuyan, walang balak ang Medicine na buhaying muli ang nasabing proyekto. Reagan D. Tan
