THE UST-Junior Philippines Institute of Accountants (JPIA) was recognized as one of the outstanding JPIA chapters in the country during the group’s annual convention last April 20 to May 2 at the Barcelona Asturias Hotel in Puerto Princesa.
Outgoing UST-JPIA President Aileen Cortez said they received the award because of their outstanding performance in University activities.
“Nung nagkaroon ng cheering competition sa Commerce, kami lagi ang nagiging champion. Pati rin sa mga Socio-Cultural activities katulad ng Regional dance contest, kami rin ang nananalo,” she added.
Also, during the convention, the UST-JPIA received the Laurel of Excellence award for the most outstanding regional group in the Philippines
Meanwhile, Sheraldine Pasillos, UST-JPIAN member, was named one of the five outstanding JPIAns in thhe country. John Carlo B. Bautista
