THE FACULTY of Pharmacy dominated both the English and Filipino categories of the Impromptu Speech Contest sponsored by the Department of Languages last Nov. 26 and 27 at the Albertus Magnus Auditorium.
The Varsitarian’s acting science and technology editor, Stephen Roy Chua-Rojas, took the first place in the English category while Rosary Kristine Anido emerged as the top speaker in the Filipino category.
Ryan Miguel Ramirez of the Faculty of Arts and Letters and Eric De la Cruz of the College of Rehabilitation Sciences finished second and third in the English category. On the other hand, AB’s Jean Paolo Hernandez and Elaine Reyes of the College of Science grabbed the second and third place honors in the Filipino category.
