Lady Spikers blast Adamson

Feb. 11, 7:28 p.m. - THE UST Lady Spikers barged into the semifinals of the UAAP women’s volleyball tournament after defeating the Adamson Lady Falcons, 25-22, 25-21, and 25-8, at The Arena in San Juan this afternoon.

The squad ended the elimination round with a 9-5 win-loss record to secure third place.

Maru Banaticla bombarded Adamson with15 points, including 13 attacks and two blocks, while Judy Caballejo and Maika Ortiz pumped in 11 and 10 markers, respectively. Alexis U. Cerado
