Tigers shock Adamson; firm up Final Four spot

Photo by Sherwin Marion T. VardeleonSeptember 3, 7:34 p.m. - THE GROWLING Tigers solidified their campaign for the last Final Four slot with a 74-58 come-from-behind victory against the Adamson University Falcons in their crucial UAAP match-up at the Smart-Araneta Coliseum this afternoon.

The win put Tigers more comfortably ahead of De La Salle University and National University with a 7-5 win-loss card.

The Tigers can just hope for idle Green Archers to lose a match to barge onto the fourth spot.

The Falcons built an early 17-point lead in the second quarter before the Tigers mounted a furious rally and limited Adamson to only 16 points in the entire second half. Jan Edward B. Ballesteros
